General (Advanced LTE-A Pro FDD Uplink)

This topic describes the General parameters for the various Advanced LTE-A Pro Uplink component carrier types, including E-UTRA, eMTC, and NB-IoT.

Additional parameter setup tables for are described in these topics:

Baseband (Advanced LTE-A Pro FDD Uplink)

Fading contained in Waveform (multipath only) (Advanced LTE-A Pro FDD Uplink)

State

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to turn the carrier Off or On.

Waveform Generation Length

Range:

10 to 160 ms (Multi carrier)

30720 ms (Single carrier)

Step: 1 ms

Default: 10 ms

Sets the waveform generation length. If Waveform Generation Length is set more than 160 ms, it's not available to add another carrier (single carrier only).

Waveform Generation Length Even Frame Alignment (NB IoT)

Choice: Off | On

Default: On

Double-click or use the drop-down menu to turn Waveform Generation Length Even Frame Alignment on or off.

Waveform Generation Length (NB IoT)

Range:

1 to 160 ms (Multi carrier)

1 to 47360 ms (Single carrier)

Displays Waveform Generation Length. Waveform Generation Length is automatically decided by the corresponding parameters.

Waveform Generation Length = NPUSCH Starting Subframe + Number of Consecutive Transmission Slots + Inserted Gap + Even Frame Alignment Length. NPUSCH Starting Subframe is parameter in milliseconds. Number of Consecutive Transmission Slots (N) = (N_RU) x (N_Rep) x (N_UL_slots). A gap of 40 ms is automatically inserted after every 256 ms NPUSCH transmission. If Waveform Generation Length Even Frame Alignment is on, the waveform length becomes multiple of 20ms by adding tail gap period. This is the Even Frame Alignment Length.

Even if transmission configuration sequences are set longer than Waveform Generation Length, signal generation length is limited to Waveform Generation Length.
